Your Abstract

Submit your abstract on significant achievements, updates, innovative projects, case studies, and technology advancements in transport, with a focus on Australia and global insights. Avoid using the submission for promotional purposes.

 
Abstract Format and Questions

  • You need to have at least 1 confirmed presenter to complete the online submission (includes speaker details, photo, and bio)
  • There can be maximum of 2 presenters for an abstract talk
  • Provide 250 word abstract, written as a paragraph of text (no bullets, graphs, tables)
  • Provide 50 word snap shot summary
  • Provide 2 questions for the session moderator to ask you
  • Provide website relevant to your submission, if applicable
  • Only submissions via the Abstract Submission Portal will be accepted 


In Person Presentation from the Lectern

All presentations are intended to be in-person.


Breakout Session Format

Most presentations will be during 60-90 min Breakout Sessions, with 15 mins allocated per talk. Co-presenters share the allocated time. Questions may be saved for the last 15 mins of the session.

 
Review of Submissions

An external panel evaluates submissions based on research/project quality, topicality, comprehensiveness, and clarity. Successful abstracts will be scheduled, and presenters must complete registration by 31 May 2024.

 
Registration of all Speakers

All speakers, regardless of their presentation type, must register and pay the fee. Discounts available. Fee is payable upon receiving notification that your abstract has been accepted and you have been asked to complete speaker registration. Speaker registration should be completed by 31 May 2024.

University Students: Student speakers from ITS Australia member organisations are eligible for 50% discount, please indicate your student status on the abstract submission form and provide ITS Australia with a copy of your Student Card: admin@its-australia.com.au
