Akio Yamamoto has served as the president of ITS Japan and Secretary General of ITS Asia-Pacific since June 2021, while being with Toyota Motor Corporation for over 30 years. 

At Toyota Motor Corporation, he engaged in information systems and corporate planning, and led ITS / Connected business and product planning from 2014 to 2021.  He was particularly involved in data business (how to make money from data), M&A projects, ITS products and service planning.
