Dong Zhao is a dedicated third-year PhD candidate at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), focusing on public transport demand estimation and multi-modal public transport modelling under disruptions. With a passion for enhancing public transport systems in urban areas, my research focuses on developing innovative models to estimate public transport demand based on big smart-card data and address the challenges posed by disruptions in multi-modal transportation networks.
