Iftekhar is Associate Dean (Research) in the School of Engineering. Iftekhar leads the wireless communication research group at the School of Engineering, ECU. His research interests include next generation communication networks including 5G/6G, sensor technologies and data analytics, green communication technologies, network security, renewable energy systems and electric vehicles.
