Ir Steven Lui is a Technical Director of AECOM responsible for project management and delivery of Smart Mobility projects in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. He has more than 20 years of international experience working in both public and private sectors on projects in the UK, UAE, Singapore and Hong Kong. He has served as Project Manager and technical leads in projects involving Smart Mobility and ITS, and has extensive experience on various state-of-the-art transport management and monitoring technologies. He is also proficient in various traffic modelling and micro-simulation software packages, and various applications using AI Deep Learning Video Analytics.

 

Steven is the President and Fellow Member of the Society for the Intelligent Transportation Systems Hong Kong since Dec 2023. He is also a Committee Member of the IET Hong Kong Railway and Transport Section, and a member of the Smart Mobility Technology (C-V2X) Alliance. Steven has been an Enterprise Support Scheme Assessment Panelist for the HKSAR Government Innovation and Technology Fund since 2021 and has been an Expert Review Panelist of Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre in Transportation since early 2017. He is also an International Committee Member of International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association (IBTTA).
